When you own a dog, there’s a large list of supplies you need to care for them properly and keep them healthy and happy. As dog parents, the top of that list contains items such as food, leashes, and grooming supplies, but if our dogs had a say they’d likely have treats in the number one spot. Whether they’re used for training or an after dinner snack, you can’t have a dog without a pantry full of treats. The dog treat market grows larger every year and these days there are thousands of different dog treats to choose from, making it hard to decide which ones are the best for our pups. At the end of the day, every dog is different and so are their treat preferences. However, there are treats out there that are a healthier and better choice than others!
