Welcome to That One Dog Mom! My name is Kylie, I am 24 years old, and the proud dog mom to two Siberian Huskies. I created That One Dog Mom to share my passion for being a dog mom. My goal is to share tips, tricks, ideas, recipes, and so much more with dog moms and dads across the world who, like me, want to provide the best quality of life for their furry friends.
My love for animals, and dogs specifically, began at a very young age. My family has owned dogs for over 15 years! When I graduated from high school, I found a job at a dog daycare and boarding facility where I could do what I do best, love on dogs all day! I worked there for 5 and a half years as a playroom manager and had the opportunity to not only learn all about dog behavior and health but also to become pet CPR and First Aid certified. After several years at the dog daycare, I began a career as a vet assistant at a holistic veterinary clinic where I’ve been for the last two years.
My dream dog since I was 8 years old was a Siberian Husky, so as soon as I had the time and money to care for one, I brought home my three year old Husky, Luna. Luna has completely changed my life and turned me into the ultimate dog mom (like the kind of dog mom who makes her dog an instagram and buys them matching outfits)! My love for Luna, and desire to give her the best life ever, inspired That One Dog Mom! More recently, I had the opportunity to rescue a one year old Siberian Husky, Phoebe.
